Interdisciplinary visual artist. Work has exhibited at the Alexandria Bibliotheque, Egypt, Sydney Biennial, Australia, and Venice, Italy. Her photographic essays have shown in Spain, South Africa, Australia, Mexico and U.S.A.  Founder of Factor X, a binational Mexico/USA organization, which focuses on providing services to women from the maquiladora industry. From 2002-01 board member of Voz Alta community arts organization. From 1990 to 1995 member of Border Art Workshop/Taller de Arte Fronterizo (BAW/TAF). From 1990 to 1993 member of LAS COMADRES, Tijuana/San Diego. Currently part of the American Festival Project Council, based in Kentucky, U.S.A.
